After two days of pool play and bracket games at the Georgia Hoops Classic, the individual scoring leaderboard is taking shape — and Tyler Davis of the Knoxville Blazers has separated himself from the pack. Davis enters championship Sunday averaging 18.5 points per game, a full two points clear of his nearest competitor.
Top 5 Scorers Through Saturday
Davis's consistency has been remarkable — he hasn't scored fewer than 14 points in any game this tournament. Behind him, James Johnson of Charlotte Thunder sits at 16.0 PPG and will face Davis directly in Sunday's championship game. Marcus Williams of the ATL Celtics rounds out the top three at 15.8 PPG.
Three-Point Leaders
The three-point race has been equally compelling. Davis leads with 3.0 three-pointers per game, connecting on multiple threes in every contest. His ability to stretch defenses from beyond the arc has been a critical factor in the Blazers' undefeated run through the bracket. Several newcomers have also emerged as prolific shooters, including Cam Rivers of BSAA Elite.
